Amanda Caruso

Director of Operations

If you've ever moved from somewhere else to Charlotte, we probably have something in common. I'm originally from Long Island, and like a lot of New Yorkers, I came down here, looked around, and never looked back. I know what it's like to buy a home in a place you're still learning — where the good neighborhoods are, what a commute actually looks like, which questions you don't know to ask yet.

As Director of Operations for the Jay White Team and Realize Charlotte, my role is what happens after "congratulations, your offer was accepted" — the part where things get busy. Inspections, repair negotiations, appraisal, loan conditions, title work, utility transfers, closing logistics. All of it happening at once, most of it on deadlines you didn't set.

That's where you shouldn't have to be the project manager. Deadlines get tracked. Paperwork gets checked before it becomes a problem. If something looks like it could threaten your closing date, you'll hear about it early and with a plan attached, not the day before. And because our team has mortgage, property management, and home repair under the same roof, you're not chasing three companies to get one answer.

Behind the scenes, the same systems support our agents — 250 to 300 families a year across the Charlotte metro, from Waxhaw to Concord to Fort Mill and Indian Land. Good operations are what let them stay focused on you instead of on paperwork.

If you're relocating and feeling a little overwhelmed by it, that's normal, and you're in good company here. Questions are welcome at any point in the process — I'd much rather answer one early than have you sitting on it.
